From something I drew the other night while out for coffee...
Green is a massive pain in the ass for me to use well, btw. This one was difficult, and there may be more. It's beginning to look like the entire Nightside of the Tree will eventually be getting portraits. When I can afford the surfaces, of course.
Sweet! I like this one! I think the green turned outvery well and I like all the layers of wings! The part around the head and upper surface of the paper makes for a very nice composition too and then of crouse your creatures have avery typical "you" style! Well done!

I love the shade of green that you used for the background, as well as the way that the green comes through his wings. Also, you're always so good with using shadows to define the body, but I think you did an especially good job on this piece.
